Hands down, Google Adsense is the most widely used income generating ad provider world wide. With millions of advertisers within their database, there is an endless stream of topics that can generate ads for your site. Their system takes a little getting used to, and you need a small amount of programming knowledge to implement within your site, but hands-down Adsense has one of highest, if not the highest payouts to generate money from your site.
With its copy & paste code, all you need to do is find designated areas within your website to add Google Adsense to and that's it, Google does the rest for you. They generate the ads, track all clicks from your site, generate reports, and even pay you via the internet. What's better than to sit back and watch your money grow!?

Yahoo! - Publisher Network
Although I am reluctant to add Yahoo! here, I feel like I must. This beta ad placement is only available to US residents only. Canadians like me don't have the opportunity to test this service, but from the reviews I've read, it seems as though Yahoo's publisher network works pretty much like Google Adsense does. Sign up; setup your ads, copy & paste, and a way you go.
Kontera - ContentLink™ Ads
Kontera uses a new form of "passive advertising". I really like these ads because they target key words in your website content and places a link(you determine the content) where it relates to the advertiser. For example, if you have a page about "search engines", Kontera's script will add a link to your text with simple on-screen pop-up advertising that blends into your website. No nasty popup windows, pop-under windows, exit windows, and so on. This clean text link placement is ideal for article directories, blogs, and other content heavy websites.
AdBrite - Ad Placements
Adbrite is a little different from the other ad generators above. They provide a way to display your own ad spots within your site which you have control over the advertisers for your site. Unlike Google, Yahoo, and Kontera, you can generate the advertisers yourself to fill up your ad spots designated by you. You also have the ability to control the size of your ads, and you do have the option to let AdBrite chose advertisers for you, but this service is better for websites that are established online and can generate a great deal of traffic. Selling ads through AdBrite might only generate pennies a day depending on the amount of traffic you receive. On the bright side, Adbrite gives your business a colorful profile page to help sell your ads for you, they also take care of all the billing issues, oh yeah, and the payment issues as well. So it's up to you to decide. Do you take on your own ad spot campaign yourself with all the management issues, or do you let AdBrite do all the work for you? It's entirely up to you! Amazon.com Associates Program
Amazon.com is one of the oldest, and most trusted online products malls out there. With millions of products, this is a great solution for people who want to sell products on their website. Their associates program allows you to place links to products, banners that generate specific products, and even mini-malls within your website. Simply plug & play and Amazon.com will do the rest. This is a great solution for authors. Selling books online has never been easier.
Chitika - eMiniMalls
Although Chitika claims that their ads are great for bloggers, there are still many ways to post their ads within "other" type of websites as well. This unique ad generator not only allows you to display ads on your site, but their ads are dynamic as well. Visitors can browse through the products directly from your site with the ability to view product details, multiple products at once, and also search for more products. The best part is, visitors won't need to leave your website unless they directly click on a product.
eBay - Affiliates Program
There aren't many affiliates programs I like to talk about, but eBay is widely recognized name world wide. eBay offers you the ability to add banners, text ads, and other media in order to generate revenue from your website. Just like any other affiliate program out there, you are required to sign up, copy & paste their code, and let the traffic you generate do the rest. SEARCH RESULTS:
ABCSearch.com - Partner Program
ABCSearch.com is a well known PPC (Pay Per Click) search engine that has a great deal of technology in place to prevent click fraud. This service allows you to generate search results in order to make money from your website. Their results are generated through plug & play code, or you can choose for the more advanced xml feeds.
Mamma.com - Mamma Media Solutions
Earn revenue from search and graphic advertising while enhancing your site at the same time. You have the flexibility to select or combine two different types of revenue streams for your website: search ads or graphic ads.
Miva.com - MC
Miva is also a well known PPC search engine that allows you to generate income from adding search results to your site. They combine 3 different ways to generate their ads; 1) Search results, 2) Text Ads, and 3) In-Line Ads (Popup text links).

If you have ever wondered how to generate money from your website without the hassles of managing advertisers, billing, accounting, and click fraud, then these ad generating companies are the best solution for your business. There are still MANY other great companies out there, to list them all here would take a lifetime. Try them all out, try only one of them if you wish.
