What's The Difference Between The WYSIWYG and Simple Text Editor?
When Should I Use Bullet Points?

What Is The Best Article Body Layout?
=========================
There is no set standard for the layout of your article body. But there are some methods used that increase the chances of visitors reading / browsing your articles more often.
Create A Great Description:
Descriptions are also a part of the article body. Although you typically submit your description separately, a great description will keep your visitor interested in reading the rest of your article. Make sure to recap what your article is about without revealing all of your secrets in on sentence.
Lead With A Header:
Headers are a great way to attract people who only "browse online". Not many people actually read every bit of text the come by, on the most part, they tend to browse a little here, and browse a little over there. We all do this. Browsing is an easy way to quickly find out whether a piece of text is worth reading, or just worth moving onto the next piece of text. Headers like the ones in this article (Ex. Lead With A Header), are a great way to stop someone from browsing and start reading.
Headers Are Also A Great Way To Lead Into The Next Point:
Not only do headers stop people from just browsing your articles, they also help to lead into the next point you wish to make. For instance, let's say your explaining how to fix an article and you lay out 5 may points to follow. If the person browsing your article has knowledge about the 4 of the 5 main points, they might want to skip directly to the main point they aren't familiar with. Headers give browsers an opportunity to skip to the paragraphs they're most interested in.
List Your Step-By-Step Process With Bullet Points:
Step 1) Open up notepad, or texteditor Step 2) Find a hot topic Step 3) Create a title that catches visitors attentions Step 4) Create a description that keeps a visitors attention Step 5) Create headers for each paragraph to help stop browsers from browsing Step 6) Create bullet points to illustrate your step-by-step process
Always end the body of your articles with your conclusion. Recap everything you have taught within the body of your article. A conclusion is a great way to further illustrate what readers have learned within your article, and is also great for starting to introduce your company services, or products.

What Programs Should I Use To Write My Text?
=========================
When writing articles, you don't need the most fancy text editor. In fact, the more simple your text editor is, the more frequent your articles will be approved without any problems within article directories world wide.
Why Shouldn't I Just Copy My Articles From My Site?
When you copy text from your web site, you are not only copying the text, but also copying all of the table properties that make up the structure of your web site. On top of that, when you copy from your site, you also copy the special font properties that help display your text online. Both of these "unwanted" tables & font properties reap havoc for editors. The less "garbage code" you don't copy, the faster your articles will be approved online.
What Is Wrong With Microsoft Word?
Just like a web site, Microsoft Word has added a whole bunch of useless commands that also get copied when copying your articles. This "useless code" can also wreak havoc for editors reviewing your articles.
What Programs Are Deemed Safe For Creating Articles?
Microsoft Windows - NotePad:
START > ALL PROGRAMS > ACCESSORIES > NOTEPAD
Mac - TextEdit:
FILE > NOTE PAD or... FINDER > APPLICATIONS > TEXTEDIT.APP
These two simple text editors are great for submitting content online. Nothing fancy, but nothing useless is submitted either. These two programs don't have a whole bunch of useless code that get's submitted in the background.

What's The Difference Between The WYSIWYG and Simple Text Editor?
=========================
There is a distinct difference between the two. In the beginning Article99.com only displayed the WYSIWYG editor, but over time we had authors complaining that they couldn't post their articles to our dynamic editor. At the same time, most automated article submission softwares also had the same problems posting to our dynamic editor. So with this, we introduced our Simple Text editor that allows authors who use a Safari Browser for Mac, and/or use an article submission software to submit articles to us online.
What Is The Difference Between The Two?
WYSIWYG (Dynamic Editor): "What You See Is What You Get" dynamic editors allow you to format your text via our web site. This is an open source program that has been developed for formatting content online.
Benefits:
Easily format text online
Create active links with a touch of a button

Simple Text Editors: Simple text editor is exactly that. This feature is simply a text form box that allows you to submit content to.

Allows you to post articles via an article submission software

Will not format your articles for you
The choice is ultimately yours. You can use either one to submit articles with. If you can, we recommend that you use our WYSIWYG editor in order to format your articles for submission. This dynamic editor has everything you need to spice up your article and to stay within most HTML guidelines.

When Should I Use Bullet Points?
=========================
Bullet points are great for displaying a step-by-step process, or displaying multiple points about any given topic. Creating a point-by-point system while using bullet points within your article looks great, and displays the information in a clean fashion.
Here Is A Sample of This In Action:
Bullet points are clean.
They stand out from the rest of the text.
Easy to display step-by-step process.
Can be used for multiple purposes.
Show a list of web sites!
etc...
As you can see, bullet points speak for themselves!
When Shouldn't I Use Bullet Points?
Don't use bullet points for each paragraph within your article. This tends to look bad and has no real purpose.
Don't use bullet points for displaying images.
Don't over-use bullet points over and over again. It may deter visitors from reading your article.
You be the judge on when to use bullet points within your article. Some articles need a couple sets of bullet points, and others don't need them at all!
